College of Immaculate Concepcion, Pandi, Bulacan
Birthday: October 24, 1990

Rowena was only 8 years old when admitted at Philippine Children’s Mission in June 1998 due to financial reasons. She is the third child in the brood of nine. Her father died at the age of 40 years old due to kidney problem. Hence, her mother had difficulty in providing their needs, thus she sought the help of PCM for temporary shelter and educational assistance for her daughter.

She helps and assists her fellow children in their assignment especially in Math which she is good at. She can be relied upon with the household chores and does tasks without being told.  Her household chores include the cooking, marketing and bookkeeping of PCM financial records. She is a potential future leader.

Weng, as fondly called by her friends, is a very responsible person. She is a Sunday school teacher and youth choir member in their church.

She is thankful to her sponsor and PCM as well for supporting her college education, and inspired her to aim high for her future. She wishes to finish her education to be able to help her family.
