"He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done." (Proverb 19:17)

Bachelor in Education (Graduated in 2014)
Collegio De Sta. Teresa De Avila
Birthday: November 30, 1988

Jessannie Mariano is 22 years old when she enrolled in college, taking-up B.S. in Education. She entered late in college because of financial constraints of her family. She is a studious and diligent student, being a part of the Dean’s list during her senior year in high school. She loves writing and reading, and has a basic knowledge in computer.

Jeng, as fondly called by her friends, is one of the key persons of their church in Novaliches. She is an active Sunday School Superintendent in Praise Christian Fellowship where she attends church service and activities regularly. She is reported to be friendly, teachable and cooperative in the church.

Her parents describe her as hopeful, responsible and determined. She is observed to be a happy and caring daughter to her parents and siblings despite of their current tough situation financially. One of Jeng's inspirations in life is her family. She came from a very simple family of three brothers and two sisters. According to her, she is very happy to have parents who are very supportive and responsible. Her father works as a market vendor and his income is not enough to support and provide for their daily needs.

She claimed that she wants to pursue and finish her studies in college because of her family. She knew that with God's help she can achieve her goal and dreams in life. Of course, her first inspiration is God, because she knew that without Him, she will fail.

Jessannie currently works in STI Novaliches as a senior high teacher. She helps to support the everyday needs of her family.
