"He who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done." (Proverb 19:17)

James Parayaoan

B.S. Education major in Filipino (Graduating)
Colegio De Sta. Teresa De Avila
Birthday: November 30, 1988

James was raised in a Christian family. His father is part of the teaching staff of the church and his mother actively involved in discipling other moms. Their whole family serves God together, in spite of the financial constraints.

To support their financial needs, he helps his parents in cooking rice cakes and selling it to people in their neighborhood. He also helps by doing light jobs in a site where his father works as a construction worker.

He is musically inclined and knows how to play a variety of instruments. He really loves music, it runs through his family. Right now, James is serving in the music ministry, he's a drummer and he's really good at it. He also loves to write poems and mix it with his music. According to him, whenever he plays the drums or writes a poem, his greatest inspiration is Jesus, the savior of his life. James is also talented in drawing. He sometimes gets to use this skill to earn some money on school days by drawing for his neighbors' projects and assignments at school.

James is very passionate in pursuing his studies because he really wants to be a teacher someday. He wants to imitate the greatest teacher of all times, Jesus. He is truly grateful to his sponsor who helps him in achieving his dreams.
