November 2010, the Board of Trustees of PCM met. Something monumental was brewing. A proposal to provide partial tuition support came up for college students who have proven leadership qualities. However, adding a new program may affect the current shelter program of PCM. Thus, the Board decided that scholarship will be given to a student if we can attract additional sponsor(s) for him/her. And to start the ball rolling and hoping it would have a snowball effect, four members of the PCM Board have committed to finance one student each.
It is our prayer that others who are blessed in life may find the wisdom to support those who are disadvantaged in life. For "he who is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward him for what he has done." (Pro 19:17)
