They may not be the most intelligent, not the top 5 of their batch. But they are proven leaders. They have joined organizations and made a difference in the positions assigned to them. They are not the high IQ type who tinkers with tech matters, but driven type who try to encourage others to live better lives. Most scholarships don't notice them. Let's do.
Working With an Able Partner
Praise Christian Fellowship - Novaliches (PCFN) will spearhead the program and manage the goals. PFCN has been involved with the poor community since 2006. We knew more about the people in the community, thus having a good position to recommend qualified beneficiaries. The students and their parents will be required to attend the partner church to receive regular biblical guidance, especially in managing finances and improving relationships, from the ministers. In this way, the families can receive inspiration and empowerment to break out of the poverty cycle.
Goals
- To support at least 50% of a student's college tuition fees until he graduates;
- To teach/guide the student and his/her parents about biblical living, especially in managing finances and family relationships;
- To assist the beneficiary in landing a fair job;
- To encourage the beneficiary to help at least one of his/her siblings in finishing a college degree, thus multiplying the fruit of the program.
