Jethro is one of the youth leaders of his church. He is the middle child in the three siblings of his hardworking parents. When he has time after school, he helps his mother do household chores and assists in making handicrafts that they sell to make a living. His friends and fellow leaders have known him to be a very diligent and helpful young man. He is a member of the ambiance ministry and takes part in maintaining good ambiance in the church. He is also a bass guitar player in the music ministry of the church. His friends also say that he is very approachable and very friendly, that he's even one of the reasons why they enjoy going to church. Besides being a member in his two ministries, he is also a spiritual father to a group of young men who have been encouraged to follow Jesus by Jethro's leadership and by what they saw in his life.
His studies are very important to him because he strongly believes that earning a degree can contribute to his dream of becoming a pastor someday. Even though his family always encounters difficulties due to lack of financial resources, he always has faith that God's provisions will never fail to come their way. That’s why he is very thankful for being a scholar. He believes that his sponsor is one of the biggest blessings that God has given to him.
